A breath of fresh air
I went to best buy today and bought Guild Wars. Like many of you, I am a vet of SWG, and some other MMOs. The Combat Upgrade destroyed my playing experience for SWG, so here I am.
When I logged into GW for the first time, the graphics are what caught my eye. They are better than EQ2 (IMHO) and less cartoony than WoW, which is fine by me either way. I love the fact that there is a lvl 20 cap. I plan on being a casual gamer, so this game is perfect for me. Over the years I have played MMOs, I have met so many great people. I want to post this in attempt to be re-united with some of those people who may be playing this game, and to maybe meet some new online friends. Here is my info from previous games for those of you that might have played. SWG Wanderhome, -boogie- Bria, Maat Radiant, Maat Lineage II Seighardt, CoolHand EQ II Crushbone, Silas WoW Illidan, Lasaaro That's all I can think of for right now. It would be sweet to get in touch with some peeps I played with before, so If you recognize any of those names from any games you played, let me know

hi there! glad you are enjoying GW as much as I am. Personally, I am also a vet from SWG after playing for 2 years. The combat upgrade ruined the game and guild wars has given me hope!

Carefull the last post that mentioned SWG got closed and poster ws told not to mention other games here. The horror
